Lo pregunto, no lo afirmo. Hace unos meses salió un beta que arreglaba algo de un helo y esa beta era compatible con la actual y creo recordar que metimos la beta (por ese helo). Desde esa actualización a mí se me actualiza siempre con la beta.

hasta donde yo sé hay dos versiones, release y beta y ambas son compatibles con la otra, por lo menos hasta ahora. Si voláis esta noche algunos con release y otros con beta no tendréis problemas seguro.

La versión que dices Flanker se usó por que era compatible con la versión Release y muchos de nosotros teníamos alternativamente una u otra en función de si volábamos o no el helicóptero con el bug.

Está nueva versión Beta , hasta donde yo se es compatible con la actual Release pero es un cambio muy profundo de SRS a muchos niveles.

OK, pensaba que todos pasamos a la beta por el tema del helo; si son compatible genial.

Pero habría que plantearse usar la beta para tener los últimos update disponibles, como hicimos con DCSW en su momento .

This release fixes the CH-47 and adds the new and exciting F4U Corsair! There are also a load of smaller fixes following the absolutely enormous release on Monday.

**DCS-SRS BETA Release Version 2.2.0.3 - HOTFIX**

This is a small hotfix / bug fix for the previous 2.2.0.0, 2.2.0.1 and 2.2.0.2 BETA - please read the full notes above https://discord.com/channels/2980544236 ... 3625239594

This BETA is backwards compatible with existing SRS servers and clients -** but be warned, SRS has a completely new folder structure once installed **- so if you want to go back to the previous release you'll have to manually copy back all the .cfg, .txt and .csv files yourself to rebuild it so I recommend a fresh install. However, you can install this version over a previous install of SRS of any previous version and it should migrate all your settings etc for you.

For BETA feedback - please post <#473947464349646848> as this is basically a rewrite of SRS under the hood - I definitely may have missed things!

Big news as well - there are now two new community docker versions of SRS! Thank you for putting these together! They use the new Linux Server version of SRS and have a hugely reduced memory footprint as a result with great performance!

This is likely to be the last Beta before the final official release as hopefully the bugs are mostly squashed now!

El famoso Chinook, creo que fue esta, además cambiaba unos archivos a otros

Pero el cambio del Chinook vino en la Release -> 2.2.0.5 y el cambio de archivos gordo (estructura) vino en la release -> 2.2.0.4...si no he leido mal, ojo

se dijo algo de cambiar a la beta por el tema del chinook?

Pregunto por curiosidad mas que nada, porque yo hace muchísimo que no vuelo el chinook en misiones oficiales y no sabía cual era el heli que obligo a ese cambio.

Yo entiendo que la versión release es más estable y que cada beta implementa un cambio nuevo que aún está en pruebas y que si va bien, pasa a añadirse en la siguiente actualización de la release.
