USMC pod

Hey everyone,

Probably the the most anticipated new feature of the Hornet is the targeting pod. As mentioned earlier, we will start with the Litening pod due to it being used by the USMC and similar to what we already created for the A-10C (hardly a cut-and-paste though). Attached is an image of it in action.

It is important to understand that this is neither an ATFLIR or Litening pod ala A-10C. It is a Litening pod that uses standardized Hornet Mission Computer (MC) data export.

Most of the core AG functions are in the game and working, with the big ones still being worked on being the setting a Target Point via the TGP (critical for AUTO and TOO mode attacks) and, AREA vs POINT tracking . After the initial release, we will continue to flesh out the pod to include AA mode, control pages, and additional functions/symbols.

Our engineer assigned to the pod is working very, very hard on this and we are pushing to release it as soon as possible.

Una cosa que tengo clavada desde hace mucho tiempo y que realmente no me he preocupado de solucionar o de intentar mejorar...; a ver..., ¿vosotros veis con suficiente resolución y nitidez las fuentes de los DDIs? ¿los leeis bien? ¿o teneis que acercaros un poco para leerlo bien?

En los settings gráficos del simulador, yo tengo la resolución de las pantallas de cabina en 512, pero es que si lo subo al máximo, tampoco es que note diferencia. No se, ¿vosotros como lleváis ese tema?. Mi monitor es de 27" y con una resolución de 1920x1080

Yo uso las gafas y los tengo a más resolución, aún así me tengo que acercar un poco; pero ese acercamiento es mucho menor que si lo hago con el track ir.

También, hace tiempo se lo comentaba a Shini en una conversación, el MFD central se ve con mayor facilidad con las gafas que con el track ir en cuanto a la posición de la palanca se refiere.

Creo que había un mod para mejorar esa resolución...

Estoy fuera y no te puedo dar detalles, pero en general me tengo que acercar siempre.

Luego Willow se queja de que esté suempre con la cabeza metida en cabina y no mirando fuera...

Lo probé y no me gustó. Supongo que te refieres a uno que te pone rojas las fuentes del ddi central

Siempre puedes trastear con el lua y ponerle otro color. Supongo que se podrá hacer.
