It's disabled for the hangar, the only way to get shoddy forms of AA (FXAA, SMAA) is through an injector. The way AA works in Star Citizen is the same as it is in Crysis 3. The current CryEngine build only applies AA to certain surfaces and there is no way around it (to my knowledge).
I did fear this would be the case in Star Citizen but I was holding out for the CryEngine version upgrade to possibly sort this issue out. Forcing alternative forms of AA via nvidia inspector does nothing either.
The only way I see this being "fixed" (not sure if Crytek even think it's a problem!?) is if enough people raise the issue. It annoys me massively but there are others who don't notice (or do notice, but can't explain what's actually going on).
