AUTO release mode
The AUTO release mode has been updated so it accurately simulates its behavior on the real aircraft.
The changes are as follows:
AUTO is fully integrated with the INS system via the EHSD page.
To enable AUTO mode, it is necessary that the INS is in DESIGNATION mode. Otherwise AUTO mode will not engage, and no bomb release will be possible. This affects all bomb types: GPs, LGBs and JDAMs.
The procedure to enable and use AUTO release mode is as follows:
On the EHSD page, set the steering mode to WYPT or W/OS.
Click on the DESG button (PB01) and box it. This will designate the current steer-point (waypoint, Mark-point, Target-point or their offsets) as the System Designated (SD) Target.
The EHSD will show DESG STP on PB01. This indicates: DESIGNATION mode is enabled and that the steer-point and the SD are in the same location.
Be aware that the INS will ALWAYS navigate towards the steer-point, not the SD.
At this moment, the AUTO cues will appear (ALS, Release Cue, JDAM NIRD, etc).
Now you can select a new target by using any of the aircraft’s sensors (TPOD, DMT, HUD, etc.).
After the new designation, the EHSD will show DESG TGT on PB01. This indicates that the steer-point and the SD are not in the same location and that the aircraft is navigating towards the steerpoint.
The AUTO cues will recalculate for the new SD.
At this time, it is necessary to do a LONG WINC (pressing the Waypoint Increment HOTAS button for more than 0.8 seconds). This will accomplish the following: The SD location will be stored in Target-point 0 (T0) and T0 will become the new steer-point. It is at this point that the aircraft will start navigating towards the SD. The EHSD will show DESG STP on the PB01.
Follow the AUTO cues for a successful release.
Click on the DESG button to disengage the designation mode.
Navigate towards your home base.
Please be advised of the following:
While DESG is boxed, any change in the steer-point by using the UP/DOWN arrows push buttons (PB12 and PB13) or a SHORT WINC, will cause the new steer-point to become the SD.
It is possible to follow the flight plan route while in DESG. Just change the steer-point as needed. Just remember that the new steer-point will become the SD.
JDAM absolute targeting is NOT affected by the changes in SD, since they use a different target contributor.
JDAM relative targeting is affected since they use T0 as the target contributor.
CCIP to AUTO conversion is not affected by the EHSD not being in DESG mode.
When T0 is the steer-point, you can update it just by slewing the TDC. Do not do a new designation since that will place the system back to DESG TGT and you will need to do a LONG WINC.

Siempre me llamo la atencion este avion, pero no se ni por donde empezar a aprenderlo, nada mas volarlo es tan distinto al resto que se me hace muy empinada la curva de aprendizaje, tal vez a la gente con experiencia en Helos se le hace mas facil, a mi cuando empece a leer eso de los finger checks ya me empezaron a faltar dedos

Es un bicho distinto, con sus cositas..pero muy divertido por losdistintos tipos de despegues y aterrizajes. El AAR es otro reto hasta que le pillas el punto, como todo.

Parece que tambien incorporan otros cambios de interes

Que va!!!!!; de cuando empezamos con Cherry Point a lo que hay ahora puedes ser perfectamente operativo.

Recuerda las misiones que hicimos en BW, en la fase I, aquella donde tu yo le tirábamos a un blanco que remolcaba el Tarawa, le diramos con MavIR y luego intentamos el lasing, pues con eso se funciona perfectamente, el CCIP sigue igual y el AUTO lo único que han hecho es diferenciar entre punto de navegación y punto de target.

El Tpod es igual que el viejo pero con mas funcionalidades y como en el real arreglaron el software para que no hubiera conflicto con el sistema de gestión DMT original del avión, o sea que se cargaron el modo TDC.

Ikaro, lo mismo me pasa a mi a veces, pero con un poquito de práctica, y como siempre acudiendo a los compis al final se acaban entendiendo las cosas (a veces ).

La verdad es que es un módulo que engancha muchísimo, salvo en el repostaje que me saca de los nervios no ver la "p.....a" sonda y tirar "de oído".

Nano, déjate de VRs y monta el ordenador tal cual lo tengas y te pasas por la "oficina", te seguimos esperando.

El tema no es solo si lo monto con VR o no... es un conjunto de factores que ahora mismo (y mientras siga este rollo de pandemia pinta igual) se han alineado para que no tenga el espacio disponible que me había buscado, ni siquiera, para montar la torre y el teclado en un rinconcito, cuanto menos un semi-puesto de ocio / vuelo virtual...
Espero que esta situación revierta pronto, pero no tengo ni idea de cuando..... ni como.
Luego está la otra opción... que me toque el euromillones y me compre un apartamentito solo para mi, y hacer ahí lo que me la real gana sin tener que contar con nadie... pero ya sabeis las probabilidades de eso...
